During the course of its existence, Lewis Press Ltd has striven to become self-sufficient in the in-house processing services necessary to provide a comprehensive package to its client base. The company's firm commitment towards excellence appears to have yielded the desired results, as quite rightly, it enjoys a very good reputation as regards quality and service.
The success of the company has been consequent to a number of factors, which may be summarized as follows:
- Continuous review and amelioration of production processes
- Sustained investment in modern machinery
- Emphasis on quality standards and customer focus
- Flexible management style
- Commitment by the management team and employees
- Depth of experience in the printing industry (56 years)
- Training
- Low staff turnover
Since inception, the company has sought to offer a comprehensive service to its client base and today it is renowned for the quality production of:
- Wine and beverage labels

The factory at Hal-Far Industrial Estate has 2200 sq metres production space, 300 square metres office space and 3800 sq metres undeveloped space to cater for future expansion and parking facilities. The factory has been fully refurbished to high standards, including air-conditioning in the production area. The layout of the production facilities at the new factory has given a lot of consideration to the quality standards being pursued by the company.
The company's client base is varied and includes both local and foreign firms, with a fair share of sales generated through leading advertising and market promotion agencies. Notwithstanding its long-standing relationship with the local food and beverage producers, the company has sustained an excellent reputation with various local subsidiaries of foreign corporations and purely non-resident clients. Therefore, the majority of jobs undertaken are for printed material which is subsequently exported, either as part of a finished product, such as labels and packaging material, or as a pure finished product such as brochures. It is estimated that more than 90% of the business volume ends up, directly or indirectly, in export.
